Our elders are with us until the end and I am not looking for new homes for them once they are not able to breed. The females over 6 years are sterilised to prevent pyometria. FCI’s statute allows to breed females up to 8 years old but I think that a female who gave birth to at least two numerous litters should retire earlier.
